What inspired Crunchits Tropical Horse Treats?

Do you know of macaroons? Yes! Those nice little cookies we occasionally treat ourselves to? Well Equilibrium wanted horses to be able to enjoy a similar looking version, but one that was suitable for all and healthy. As a result, Crunchits ‘popped’ into existence after sourcing low sugar, molasses free ingredients and trialling which flavours horses liked the most. We know horses love variety, so we wanted to give them just that with this new, limited-edition flavour.

What are Crunchits Horse Treats made from?

These very simple, but much-loved treats are unique in their make up when it comes to horse treats. Extruded wholemeal flour, which is high in fibre, gives them their crunch, while natural fruits strawberry, cranberry and cherry gives them their tasty flavours. Like us, you may even find your horse has a favourite flavour. Highly palatable ground maize has also been added to entice even the fussiest of horses.

In short – everyone! But they are also perfect for:
• Horses and ponies prone to laminitis.
• Horses and ponies on a low calorie or low sugar diet.

Feeding Guidelines

To be fed as a treat as required, dividing the daily amount into two or more servings. Suggested quantities: 250kg pony 20 Crunchits per day, 500kg horse 40 Crunchits per day. Always ensure plenty of clean fresh water is available. Store in a cool, dry place & reseal the bag when not in use.

Ingredients

Crunchits are a complementary feed for horses and ponies.

Analytical Constituents: Crude Protein 11%; Crude Fibre 2%; Crude Fat 2.5%; Crude Ash 1.3%; Sodium >0.1%; Sugar 4.0%.

Composition: Wheat, Maize, Chickpea Flour, Dried Beetroot powder (1.7%), Dried Turmeric powder (1.1%), Dried Peach Powder (0.4%), Dried Pineapple Powder (0.4%), Dried Pomegranate Powder (0.4%), Calcium carbonate, Blackcurrants, Dried Oak leaves, Rosemary, Pomegranate, Vegetable powder, Soya Oil

Always ensure plenty of clean fresh water is available. Store in a cool, dry place & reseal the bag when not in use.
